A 77ª edição do Emmy Awards, a maior premiação da televisão, aconteceu na noite deste domingo (14), com a vitória de três séries novatas: The Pitt, The Studio e Adolescence levaram, respectivamente, os prêmios de drama, comédia e série limitada do ano.

O primeiro drama médico televisivo a vencer a categoria de melhor série desde 1996, quando ER levou a estatueta, The Pitt surpreendeu a muitos e conquistou cinco prêmios ao todo, incluindo ainda melhor ator (Noah Wyle) e atriz coadjuvante (Katherine NaLasa).

Nas categorias dramáticas, teve prêmio para várias séries. Andor e Slow Horses levaram, respectivamente, roteiro e direção, o que fez com que The Pitt tenha se tornado o primeiro a levar melhor drama sem nenhum dos dois prêmios desde Game of Thrones, em 2019. Inicialmente tida como a favorita, Severance conquistou sete estatuetas, incluindo melhor atriz (Britt Lower) e ator coadjuvante (Tramell Tillman).

No lado da comédia, The Studio, da Apple TV+, dominou. Foram 13 prêmios, o que a fez quebrar o recorde de maior número de vitórias de uma série estreante — o título anteriormente era de The Bear, com 10 estatuetas.

The Studio levou quase tudo o que podia. Entre as conquistas, além de série, estão melhor direção, roteiro, ator (Seth Rogen) e ator convidado (Bryan Cranston). Seth Rogen, inclusive, recebeu quatro prêmios individualmente, como diretor, roteirista, protagonista e produtor da obra.

A vitoriosa de melhor comédia em 2024, Hacks perdeu o título, mas ainda assim saiu com três prêmios importantes: melhor atriz (Jean Smart, vitoriosa pelo papel pela quarta vez consecutiva), atriz coadjuvante (Hannah Einbinder) e atriz convidada (Julianne Nicholson).

No lado das minisséries, não teve concorrência para Adolescence, da Netflix, venceu tudo o que podia. Foram oito prêmios, incluindo ainda melhor ator (Stephen Graham), ator coadjuvante (Owen Cooper), atriz coadjuvante (Erin Doherty), roteiro e direção. Só sobrou espaço para o troféu de melhor atriz ir para outra série. Nessa categoria, Cristin Milioti levou a melhor por seu desempenho em The Penguin.
