A cerimônia de premiação do Emmy Awards 2024 acontece neste domingo (15), a partir das 21h (horário de Brasília), com transmissão simultânea no Brasil pela TNT e pela Max, incluindo tapete vermelho, às 20h15.

Mesmo rolando hoje, algumas séries saem na frente com diversos prêmios. Uma das favoritas da noite, Shogun, já acumula 14 troféus. E como isso é possível?

Um fim de semana antes da premiação principal, acontece o Creative Arts Emmy Awards, que basicamente premeia as categorias técnicas, incluindo fotografia, design de produção, narração, alguns realities e por aí vai.

Entre as mais de 100 categorias, Shogun conquistou 14 delas, incluindo elenco, ator convidado (Nestor Carbonell), figurino, maquiagem e penteado de época, entre outros. Essas conquistas já fazem da produção a série com mais vitórias no Emmy Awards com uma única temporada. Isto já a credencia como a favorita da premiação, bem como a grande vencedora.

Outra série que sai na frente é The Bear. A dramédia já faturou sete estatuetas antes mesmo da cerimônia principal começar, e briga para manter o título de melhor comédia pelo segundo ano consecutivo.

Já Baby Reindeer é a favorita nas categorias de série limitada. Até aqui, ela acumula dois prêmios, incluindo melhor elenco.

A 76ª edição do Emmy Awards será apresentada pelo pai e filho Eugene e Dan Levy (vencedores da premiação por Schitt’s Creek).
