Prêmio do Sindicato dos Roteiristas é um dos termômetros para o Oscar.
A 73ª edição do WGA Awards, prêmio do Sindicato dos Roteiristas de Hollywood, aconteceu no dia 21 de março. A premiação, que celebra os roteiros de séries e filmes, teve como grande vencedor o seriado de comédia Ted Lasso. A produção levou dois prêmios (melhor roteiro em série de comédia e melhor roteiro em nova série).
No cinema, destaque para Borat: Fita de Cinema Seguinte e Bela Vingança, vencedores dos prêmios de melhor roteiro adaptado e melhor roteiro original. Ambos concorrem nas respectivas categorias no Oscar.
