DGA Awards 2019 | Alfonso Cuarón conquista o prêmio de direção por Roma e está mais perto do Oscar

As séries Succession, Barry e Escape at Dannemora também estão entre as obras premiadas. 

Na noite do último sábado (2), o Sindicato dos Diretores Hollywood realizou a cerimônia da 71ª edição do DGA Awards, premiando os melhores trabalhos de direção na TV e no cinema.

Na categoria do cinema, o vencedor de maior destaque foi Alfonso Cuarón, que conquistou o troféu de melhor direção em cinema por Roma, o que continua lhe dando a vantagem pelo Oscar de melhor diretor.

Enquanto isso, na TV, Adam McKay conquistou o prêmio de melhor direção em série dramática por Succession. Ele também estava nomeado em cinema, pelo filme Vice. Mais conhecidos por suas atuações, Ben Stiller e Bill Hader acabaram conquistando os troféus de direção por seus trabalhos na minissérie Escape at Dannemora e na série cômica Barry, respectivamente.
